Bells Ferry Corridor Seniors

The Bell's Ferry Corridor Seniors were treated to a special program by our own Georgia State Representative Charlice Byrd. Charlice Byrd is an advocate for senior causes and brought Georgia State Representative Calvin Hill to discuss the recently passed 'Credit Freeze" bill. This bill allows for a free Credit Freeze to seniors in cases of possible or confirmed Identity Theft. She also brought Dr. Hawkins (Anesthesiologist), who talked of the different types of anesthesia used for various procedures.. Most importantly he related the importance of having a primary care doctor that can coordinate all of a persons healthcare providers so that proper care can be given. The seniors were then entertained by Thai dancers and concluded their day with Thai food. We would like to thank State Representative Charlice Byrd for her thoughtfulness and the opportunity to obtain this useful information.
